‘Drifters‘ is a Japanese fantasy-thriller anime based on the manga of the same name. The serialization of the manga began in a local magazine Shonen Gahosha. From a Japanese magazine’s pages, the production of writer-illustrator Kouta Hirano became among their most loved anime of all time. The manga was adapted to anime to honor its own book magazine’s 70th anniversary. The first season premiered on the 7th and finished off on December 26. With every being approximately 24 minutes it operates for a total of 15 episodes.
Release date
Owing to its success, Drifters had been renewed another season after the first one stopped. Season one’s finale episode finished with the following note: “To be continued the Second Season. See you. Tokyo 20XX. Sayonara.” Dates or no year for the commencement of the following part were declared at that time. But no launch date has been in the buzz, yet although it’s been four years since that announcement. But the fans are hoping it will roll out by the end of 2020.

Plot
Drifters’ second season will pick up from where the first season left off. A guy from the middle ages, Shimazu Toyohisa is teleported to a modern-day parallel world. As he investigates the new world he finds out that modern-day reality is filled with beasts and tyrants. Shimazu becomes free the oppressed and determined to overthrow the tyrants. He is joined by A lot of musicians in this resistance movement. Season two will continue his group’s journey against the tyrants and Shimazu.
